Girl Scouts!
As a Girl Scout, your daughter can
Develop a sense of self-esteem
Learn how to relate to others, both peers and adults
Continue to develop her values
Learn how to be a contributing part of society.
But . . .
Only adults make Girl Scouts happen. Girl Scout troops involve the whole family and offer a new world for all. We invite you and your daughter to step into the World of Girl Scouting.
To learn how you and your daughter can be involved in Girl Scouts,
Girl Scouts’
Begins at 5 or 6 years old in kindergarten and/or first grade
Attend meetings for about an hour and a half
Can go to Day Camp and other Girl Scout activities
Have fun and learn about themselves, their communities and country
Work on earning Try-It patches to wear proudly on their uniform vests
Wear optional brown vest Brownie uniform
Have adult/girl ratio of 1:5 with adult trained leaders
Parents of Girl Scouts help by
Leading a troop with support of other Girl Scout adults,
Sharing hobbies, skills and time to help the leaders and girls
Being an active part of their daughter’s activities in Girl Scouts
Financial assistance is available.
